Shrewsbury Christmas Light Switch On

23rd November 4:30pm until 8:00pm

Watch the historic market town of Shrewsbury light up the night’s sky for their annual Christmas Light Switch On.

The event marks the start of late-night shopping in the town, where retailers open for longer so that you can stock up on all your favourite Christmas gifts and essentials.

Midwinter Music at Montgomery

17th December from 7:00pm

Join Cor Trefaldwyn and Monty Folk for an evening of heart-warming Christmas and Midwinter music at St Nicholas Church, Montgomery.

Expect singalong moments, festive treats and a glass of mulled wine, followed by a mince pie.

Christmas at Attingham Park

At this popular National Trust site, you’ll enjoy a sprinkling of seasonal sparkle as you explore two floors of inventively themed Christmas trees and decorations – from traditional and show stopping to quirky and thought-provoking.

Alternatively, follow the new Christmas Tree trail along the Mile Walk, perhaps you will spot the decorated sleigh before it makes its way across the world delivering presents with Father Christmas.

Finish the day off by tucking into some festive food and drink from the café, and spend a little time in the shop and library to pick up some presents for your nearest and dearest.

Shrewsbury Market Hall Christmas Evenings

23rd November until 14th December 4:00pm until 8:00pm

Multi award-winning Shrewsbury Market Hall will throw open its doors for late night shopping this Christmas on their 'Winter Warming Wednesdays'.

For those who get there early; purchase something from one of the market’s retailers early on the night, and receive a voucher for a complimentary homemade mince pie and a glass of mulled wine, served 5pm to 6pm (while stocks last).

For those with young children (or for the kids at heart!) Olaf and Elsa from Frozen will be popping in on Wednesday 30th November!
