Woodland Loop

(1.5 hour walk)
The Woodland Loop offers a challenging 1.5-hour walk through stunning woodland and beyond. This route follows part of the River Camlad, crosses the Fisherman’s Path, and passes by notable landmarks such as Muntjac Mound, Whirly Pool, Fairy’s Hollow, and Crayfish Corner. Be prepared for steep slopes and uneven terrain.

Alpine Lodge Loop

(1 hour walk)
This leisurely 1-hour circular walk offers stunning views of the surrounding countryside. Follow the designated path through fields and woodlands. Cross picturesque bridges and keep an eye out for the wise owl. This gentle route is perfect for a relaxing stroll.

Fisherman’s Path

(1.5 hour walk)
This easy, 1.5-hour walk follows the gentle curve of the river, offering picturesque views and historical points of interest. The trail is accessible for most, including off-road pushchairs, though it can be muddy in certain conditions. The journey culminates at the charming Fisherman’s Hut, where you can pause to admire the scenery. For the adventurous, crossing the nearby bridge offers a unique opportunity to step into Wales.

Hall Loop

(1 hour walk)
Focused on those staying in Marrington Hall, this short yet challenging trail features steep slopes and passes by a number of our properties including Marrington Lodge, and Marrington Mill. The walk also follows a portion of the River Camlad, offering a chance to spot otters or kingfishers along the riverbank.
