Marrington Lodge
- Self Catering
- Sleeps 6
- Flexible Check in
Imagine yourself driving through the ancient stone pillars at the entrance of the Marrington Estate and taking a break at the original gate house lodge. Situated just off the road to nearby Chirbury village with its 12th century church, post office shop and bakery, The Lodge is a cosy and welcoming space for six, offering comfort, style and expansive views across the estate.
The house is the latest addition to our collection and offers a fully fitted kitchen from where you can watch sheep grazing in the neighbouring fields, before gathering around the oak table in the separate dining room. The elegantly decorated lounge has a log burner and French windows leading out to the large lawned garden to the rear. Downstairs, there’s also a shower room and separate utility with laundry facilities and there’s also a games room for some after dinner entertainment.
The staircase leads to a cosy seating area to relax, read or enjoy views across the Shropshire landscape. Surrounding the family bathroom, there are three well-appointed and good-sized bedrooms. One features a king-size bed, one a double and the third a zip and link, making a super-king or twin beds.
Outside you will find a large and secure private garden, perfect for you and any furry friends to enjoy. There is a hot tub with a view, along with a firepit for some outdoor feasting. There is ample parking for three cars to the front of the property.

Great place to stay, we had a fantastic family holiday and look forward to booking a return in the future. Great location and very clean and comfortable.
We had a fantastic weekend stay at Marrington Lodge in Chirbury. The lodge is beautifully presented-spacious, stylish, and comfortable. It's clear that a lot of care has gone into making it feel like a home away from home. Although the property is close to the main road, once inside you don't notice and didn't worry us at all. It has beautiful countryside views. The hosts were welcoming and helpful, offering great local tips while giving us plenty of privacy. Everything was spotless and well-equipped, making our stay effortless and enjoyable. Highly recommend Marrington Lodge for anyone looking for a relaxing rural getaway. We'll definitely be back!
Lovely place with beautiful surroundings. Very clean and had everything you could need. Great communications from the host when one of our group left behind a coat and the host offered to post it back to us.
