Available for Easter 2024… we are putting the final touches to our latest property renovation which will join our collection.
Imagine yourself driving through the ancient stone pillars at the entrance of the Marrington Estate and taking a break at the original gate house lodge. Situated just off the road to nearby Chirbury village with its 12th century church, post office shop and bakery, The Lodge is a relaxing space for six, offering comfort, style and breath-taking countryside views.
From the fully fitted kitchen, you can watch sheep grazing in the neighbouring fields, before gathering around the oak table in the separate dining room. The elegantly decorated lounge has French windows leading out to the large lawned garden to the rear and there’s a games room for some after dinner entertainment. Downstairs, there’s also a shower room and separate utility with laundry facilities.
The staircase leads to a cosy seating area to relax, read or enjoy views across the Shropshire landscape. Surrounding the family bathroom, there are three well-appointed and good-sized bedrooms. One features a king-size bed, one a double and the third a zip and link, making a super-king or twin beds.
Outside you will find a large private garden and hot tub area to relax and enjoy the fresh air, along with a firepit for some outdoor feasting. There is ample parking for three cars to the front of the property.

This is a beautiful home. My friends and I have been staying in large houses over winter for over ten years and we all agreed this has been by far the best. Freshly decorated with high-quality bathrooms, kitchens, clean carpet etc. The kitchen had everything we needed and more to cook a full roast dinner… The hot tub was amazing with lovely views… the surrounding area is so peaceful. The house is so secluded with beautiful trees and a river flowing nearby… Lovely for a walk in the morning to get some fresh air. Thanks so much for a fantastic stay!
If you're looking to get away from it all, to relax in luxurious accommodation with the most beautiful views then look no further than here. Camlad Barn is equipped with all you need and more, it's big and airy and a real home from home. We will definitely be returning. Thank you for an amazing relaxing weekend which is just what we need before we welcome our new arrival in the new year.
Our weekend stay family stay was very enjoyable at Calcot Farmhouse, everything was as described and was great for the family and our dog as well. Would definitely recommend and return as the hosts communicated great and were very helpful before and during our stay.
Superb house for our party of 10 in lovely countryside. Spotlessly clean. Very well equipped. A perfect place for a family get-together. We all enjoyed it very much.
