FROM MARRINGTON MILL’S GUEST BOOK

We love the location of the Mill, the gorgeous garden and the beautiful house itself. We feel so comfortable and at home there and appreciate how well maintained and cared for the property is. The walks from the Mill are delightful too. The three members of staff that we met, briefly, during our stay were very friendly, kind and helpful.

A comfortable, well-equipped property with everything you could want for a family holiday. Our children and grandchildren especially appreciated the hot tub and table football. The layout of the house suited our family very well (2 grandparents, 2 children and their spouses, 2 grandchildren). The size of the kitchen allowed multiple chefs to operate efficiently! Plenty of room for the whole family in the television lounge and the dining room. It was cold when we were there, so we didn't use the outdoor furniture or garden. We had 2 electric vehicles, so the EV charging was essential and much appreciated. All-in-all an excellent place to stay for a week.

Had a really great stay here with a few friends - very peaceful location, great walks around the estate and lots of wildlife. Short drive to lots of amenities, and the newly reopened pub in the village does a great Sunday roast.

We recently spent a week at Marrington Mill, and it was the perfect escape. If you're looking for peace and tranquillity, this is the place to be. The location is absolutely stunning, with serene surroundings that made it easy to unwind and relax. One of the highlights was the beautiful walks around the estate. They were not only scenic but also very pushchair-friendly, which made exploring with little ones a breeze. The Mill itself was incredibly comfortable and welcoming. It had everything we needed for a stress-free stay, from well-appointed rooms to cosy amenities. We really appreciated how thoughtfully the property was designed to make us feel at home. Overall, Marrington Mill was the ideal spot for a peaceful and relaxing break. We can’t wait to return!

Declan & Family, Marrington Mill - October 2025 Find out more about this property

We are a group of 5 ladies who escape on a walking weekend away onca a year- and have been doing this since 2003. We can honestly say that the weekend at Marrington Mill has been one of our very best trips! Marrington Mill is amazing - so stylish, comfortable and very well equipped - and we are a discerning bunch! We appreciated the lovely local wine that was left for us, and the hot tub was a wonderful place to have a glass and relax after a days walk. The surroundings are so peaceful - just the burble of the stream and the odd squark of a pheasant landing in the garden.
