The much-loved Ludlow Food Festival is back for 2026. Taking place within the historic walls of Ludlow Castle from 11th – 13th September, the festival returns for its 32nd year to celebrate the very best in regional food and drink.
This year promises an exciting programme packed with live-fire cooking demonstrations, hands-on workshops, food trails, inspiring talks, live music, and plenty of family-friendly activities. Whether you are a passionate foodie or simply looking for a fantastic day out, there is something for all our guests to enjoy.

Our favourites:
We’ve been coming to the festival for years, and supporting regional producers is what it’s all about for us. Here’s who to look out for:
Kerry Vale Vineyard
Just down the road from Marrington Escapes, turning local soil and sunshine into exceptional English wines, Kerry Vale are a firm favourite of ours. Make sure to take home a bottle of Summer Days, a well-balanced and extremely refreshing white wine and a perfect reminder of those summer evenings in the Dingle Valley | Enjoy a bottle
Widnall Bakery
A standout discovery making baked goods with real soul. As the UK’s only full-time Deaf bakehouse, they craft unbelievable wild-fermented sourdoughs, flaky homemade cruffins, and some of the best gluten and dairy-free treats you’ll find anywhere. Always our first stop at the festival, and the perfect partner to a hot coffee | Discover Widnall Bakery
Cheshire Cheese Co
Tried and tasted, Laurels Farm has been handcrafting cheese since 1957 using slow, time-honoured recipes. Their traditional creamy Cheshire cheese is unrivalled, but if you fancy stepping outside the box, grab a wheel of the Masala cheese, spiced mango chutney meets nigella seeds.
