The River Camlad
Nothing eases the mind like the sound of water and we love the way the River Camlad winds its way through the Estate.
It’s a natural sanctuary for wildlife and an array of creatures call the river their home, from colourful kingfishers to frogs, fish and otters.

The Night Sky
Our quiet countryside setting means we’re situated well away from strong light sources that can interfere with stargazing.
When the skies darken, you can find a spot in the hot tub or wrap or warm and walk to a high point to see the vast array of stars and constellations.
Located close to a few Dark Sky Discovery Sites such as The Bog in Stiperstones and the Cross Dyke car park in Church Stretton, Chirbury’s low levels of light pollution means there is more to gain with the naked eye.
Rural Ramblings
Who doesn’t love wrapping up warm and heading into the great outdoors?
The Marrington Estate is filled with peaceful walks along its public paths, with spectacular vistas of the river gorge, valley crests and rolling hills, just waiting to be explored.
We’re also close to some of the best Shropshire national trails and recreational paths such as Glyndŵr's Way, Jack Mytton Way, Kerry Ridgeway, Offa’s Dyke path, Severn Way and the
Shropshire Way.
Magical Marrington Hall
If you’re looking for characterful luxury and charm, you won’t find a much more captivating and romantic setting than Marrington Hall.
One of our favourite parts of this spectacular country house is the baronial dining room, with it’s wooden panelling and extensive table fit for a King. During the summer months, the pool area is a great place to bathe in blissful sunshine.
