There was plenty of tail wagging excitement at Marrington Lodge this week as our latest luxury holiday rental  opened its doors for the first time.

Having had the thrill of being selected as Finalists in the 2024 West Midlands Tourism Awards, our team were excited to attend the celebrations at the recent event held at The Bear Grylls Adventure venue.

We are thrilled to share that we have been shortlisted in the prestigious West Midlands Tourism Awards for New Tourism Business of the Year.

There are four Dark Sky Discovery Sites within the Shropshire Hills, all on or around the Long Mynd in Church Stretton. All four of these sites have the darkest ‘Milky Way Class Rating’, meaning that the skies become dark enough to see the Milky Way with the naked eye.

With Tour de France well underway, it’s hard not to be inspired to get out and explore. The beautiful Shropshire Hills is a great place to cycle, with it’s rolling hills making it a suitable venture for both gentle or more challenging rides.
